It feels good to be home no matter where home is. It sounds like you've adjusted so well, Alice. I know that is the Lord being with you and helping you. I have been needing Him a lot lately just dealing with so much pressure to get things done. This weekend we're going to Tim's graduation in Los Altos. He is getting his Associates degree and wants to transfer someplace, not sure where yet. Jon doesn't know if he will get an opportunity to go to college now or not. He is willing to work to help us keep the farm. It is so hard seeing the kids have to work so much too, as so many of their friends have it a lot easier. I just hope that sometime the Lord will bless these kids for their help to us and having to miss out so often on things that they would enjoy. God knows. Kurtis spent Father's Day weeding the property so as to catch up from being gone to Noah's games. I feel that we are always behind like that. At least tonight he went to bed earlier as he has to get up early and drive to Ketchum. We don't want to be grumblers or complainers. We just praise God for the good work, the weather now has been so pleasant and that helps so much. The harvest is looking to be plentiful and the markets are thriving. The Boise Market made the change to accepting foodstamps via small tokens that the buyers can exchange their foodstamps for and the vendors can trade in for cash. I still have mixed feelings about the whole foodstamp program. IT helped us a lot this winter get through and for that I know to be thankful. Also, I pray that all who get them know that it is a blessing to be able to give so others have enough to eat also. Continually praying for you both and with you. God Bless you! We love you. Thanks for writing your page & keeping up with telling your story! It is really fun to read about your adventures. Money does that to people so much. Not having it, I mean, makes it hard to keep the focus on what God wants us to. WE know how that is. Trying to be as dilligent as possible in our business right now. I'm always out potting up plants and filling orders. We have things listed online at Idaho's BOunty, a virtual farmer's market! That and the 3 farmers markets in Boise, Hailey and Ketchum (Kurtis goes to that tomorrow) is what we are doing. The Cherry Festival was this past weekend and now we have lived here for 17 years. It was Cherry Festival the year that we came into town. We always remember that. We used to have time for doing things like that but this year all we did was see them setting up and then again yesterday, taking it down. I thought of you and Ron as I saw the rides being folded back up and watching the big trucks and motor homes packing up to go to their next place.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4246991430587357173.post-25363447035547529752010-06-22T00:41:40.093-05:002010-06-22T00:41:40.093-05:00Hi Alice, (From Roxine)

So fun. Then Noah had the Varsity tournament at the Idaho Shootout, also at Vallivue on Thursday to Saturday. We helped with the concession table and putting away things, including the big score tables and chairs at the end. Some good talks with Coach Chatterton and hearing some negative stuff about Hoop Dreams and how they are having some problems. It is interesting seeing who Noah knows and how many of those going to be Freshmen are making their Varsity teams. Noah knows a lot of the kids and there is so much going on with people moving so their kids can play for the schools that will have them play all 4 years, or so they hope. Right now we don't have a house in Vallivue school district and living in Emmett is too far to commute, so unless the Lords provides the housing, we don't know how we will get Noah on the team, but he is invited to go to BYU this coming weekend and play with the Varsity again. The guys are all such good role models for him and his playing abilities are such that they appreciate him on the team. We really appreciate Coach Chatterton and his commitment to the team and the boys, individually. Also, Coach McNabb.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4246991430587357173.post-15494033860070506252010-06-20T17:36:48.551-05:002010-06-20T17:36:48.551-05:00Glad the new job is working out and you all are en...Glad the new job is working out and you all are enjoying it.
