I used to work for funtastic way back when in the games, for vince actually :D
The reason why you are not allowed to go into malls or shopping plazas is plausible denial. The management can honestly say that employees are not allowed to go there that way. And yes, it is because of the bad rap of the fair/carnival. Even though funtastic doesn't deserve it. People will try to blame EVERYTHING that goes wrong on the 'carnies' if they are around...Good luck on your travels with them, I can honestly say that I look back being on the road with them and my extra large family as some of the most interesting and happy moments of my life.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4246991430587357173.post-8448848099047958352010-04-01T19:44:23.548-05:002010-04-01T19:44:23.548-05:00That looks like a neat place to park. Boy, I wish I had pavement right now--lots of dirt from the yard comes in every time we go outside.Karenhttp://fabgrandma.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4246991430587357173.post-87807089391628679212010-03-31T21:50:27.751-05:002010-03-31T21:50:27.751-05:00The photos were all very interesting. Did you answer the question (and I missed it) on why you can't eat at Applebee's for shop at the stores where you are working? Curious.

Love all the great info you give!Margie M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10310100815284895284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4246991430587357173.post-70884614516799399292010-03-30T18:49:54.593-05:002010-03-30T18:49:54.593-05:00Great to see photos even as word descriptions make...Great to see photos even as word descriptions make it hard to actually picture you doing this, Alice! But now I know you really are! LOL, just kidding! Brings back many happy memories of our 'on the road days', living in our airstream trailer at Lake Havasu one winter, in Ephrata, Penn. and in downtown Austin, Texas under pecan trees that dropped pecans on us during a windstorm, up near Mt. Raineer (sp?) another winter (Eatonville, Wash) and in little Garden Farms, California before Jonathan was born! (when I was pregnant with him). That was next to the small community church and near a delightful creek and maple trees! Much nicer than next to the train tracks where trains whizzed through in the middle of the night! That was at an old dairy by Atascadero State Hospital! So many stories. I did keep journals but haven't ever looked at them since and don't know where they even are...lately, I'm finding a lot of old journals so they must be in them! Keep Writing Alice, Okay? Love ya, RoxineAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
